The Outaouais Umpire Academy (OUA) offers without question the training for umpires that are eager to learn and take their art to the next level. With the help of our experienced trainers, you will have the chance to touch on aspects of umpiring that are not normally covered during regular training. Know how to better prepare yourself before your matches, how to position yourself perfectly, how to recognize a game situation and move accordingly, how to analyze and correctly identify events, but above all, how to make the right decision. In the end, how to become a valuable umpire for your assigners.
The Academy takes place over 3 days and is accessible to all umpires who already hold a level 1, 2 or 3 certifications. Although level 3 umpires must complete an online exam, his training course counts as your annual level 2 training.
